Statler Garbage Dump?

I'm hoping this has something to do with a movie. The Statler site has been littered with old junk cars, broken pieces of cement, and pieces of burnt out buildings for a little while now. Does anyone know just what is going on?

Maybe the city or DEGC will do like they did with the Madison-Lenox... say that it's in imminent danger of collapsing, and immidiately send in a backhoe and a water hose and demolish it before anyone gets hurt....
