    I don't even eat pink hotdogs often, why would I eat grey ones?

    People are weird about food. A gray hotdog would taste the same as a pink one and is obviously much better for you. But the gray hotdogs will stay on the shelf.

    Today at the farmer's market, there were "ugly" tomatoes to be had practically free. They taste just as good, as I will know as soon as I cook them down a bit!

    Then there's the issue of using carbon monoxide to keep meat red. Yuck.
