This organization is doing a number of things to try to lessen the violence in Israel and Gaza. They have gotten over a hundred performers to pledge not to perform in illegal settlements. They are also calling on TIA Creff to divest from the occupation. They have organized a rabbinic counsel to speak out for justice for all people.
Do you think any of these activities will be useful? What else could they do?

I agree with what they are doing and it seems useful to many. However, it will be tough when you are dealing with people who think that they are special and exceptional because the great skygod told them so

these are the groups that find a common ground and a common decency...as opposed to those who dont... [[AIPAC and JDL et al)...JVP is the voice of justice and those who oppose it are klinging on to the past.

People need to be concerned about the issue of peace and justice in the M-E even if they don't give a hoot about Palestinians. The impact that the Israel right or wrong lobby has on western governments is stunning - during Fiscal Year 2009, the U.S. provided Israel with at least $7.0 million per day in military aid - this could probably fund basic health care for all Americans and avoid a load of bankruptcies - hence both compasionate and economic benefits for Americans. The lobby is now pushing for an attack on Iran - just what the US needs, another war to suck the economy dry. as long as there are voices who tell the truth there is hope for a just and fair peace...when you feel that the two sides can't get along remember the recent story about the Palestinian American and their groups building a Temple in Fayetteville Arkansas...this can happen..we just need AIAPC to become a voice of the past;
