A good candidate for your consideration.

I've never met him, but I've met a few of his supporters and church members. If his work ethic matches their's he would make for a very hardworking Council Member.

What does Rev. Spivey want to accomplish as a City Council member?
Does he have any goals or plans for the City of Detroit?
Don’t see these things on the website.

Ha, yeah, I clicked on "issues" and got a slide show of his birthday. Poor web design skills don't necessarily make him a bad choice for city council, but I got a laugh out of that one.

Bearinabox I was thinking the same thing. I had to click on issues twice because I thought I click the wrong page. Maybe those are his issues that he is running for council for. Birthday parties for everyone.
    Cool

Wow, did not see this coming.

I only met Andre Spivey a couple of times. Once when he visited my mother when she had a stroke. And once again last week when he was at my church. Both times I was impressed.

Brown, Bennett, & Spivey That is a slate I can get behind.
Gotta make some calls to volunteer.

I agree on the website, I noticed the lack of issue information, but was not too concerned because he is such an impressive young man. I would trust him to what is RIGHT for the city, and its citizens.

The site http://spiveyfordetroit.com/index.htm has definitely been improved.
