Next to the late David Brugnoy of Boston's WBZ, I enjoyed Dave Newman's shows on WJR and WXYT the most. I was a somewhat frequent caller to Newman's shows. I have a certificate from Newman's monthly history quiz from October 2001. I think it was the last history quiz he did either before or after he had a stroke that pretty much ended his radio career.

Thanks for the link. That was cool. I had forgotten them calling themselves the "Goodwill Station". It wa cool to hear Ty Cobb's interview.
