Yea, keep in mind that Stub Hub stops selling tickets 2 hours before the game starts for baseball games.

If your really want to go down to the wire, you can get a ticket in the $3-$5 range for upper deck.

Also depending on how desprite the guys are on the street, I have talked them down to $5 around the 3rd or 4th inning. I believe after the 5th or 6th inning you can get standing room only for around $6 or $8, and I used that as a barganing chip with the guy on the street to get him to go lower.

You can do hockey tickets on stub hub right up to the start of the game. I remember last time the Wings made it to the Stanley cup, I got a single ticket for $100, the price dropped $300 in a matter of 15 minutes before the game started.

Stubhub sucks. Just go to the ticket booth and ask for the cheapest seat available. Most games it is $5. They are no longer selling out games. Then sit wherever you can, they do not enforce too hard. Bring your own food. A lot of people don't realize this is legal. I had a fan bitch at me about, but little did he know, it is perfectly legal. No outside drinks though. Go get a free Player's card at Greektown casino and park for free at the Greektown parking garage [[need to show card before games), walk 5-10 min. to the park. Not sure it gets any cheaper than that.

You can bring in bottled water. Kids can bring juice boxes.

When's the last time you were there? I watched them play the twins in early July and they had somone checking tickets at every isle for at least the first 4 innings. After that a few of them went away, but you still couldnt get to any of the good seats without the right tickets.
I've stood on the fence before, you can actually see pretty good, only right field is blocked I think.

Avoid the ticketmaster ripoff by buying from the box-office at the ball-park. Weeknight game cheap seats are $5 unless it's designated "premium" on the schedule, but those are rare. Grab a schedule. Bottled water is allowed usually when the temperature is hot [[basically all of this summer). Since they are tanking right now, and attendance will probably decrease, you can sit in most seats after the 4th or 5th inning.

I sat in the infield box two weeks ago for $40 a ticket. My dad told the scalper before seeing the $35 face value!!!

Two Things:

A) Don't go to a afternoon game, Comerica Park is below the street grade so it turns into a big mixing bowl of heat.

B) The usher at the infield box section [[we where 8-10 rows back) constantly checked my ticket to make sure I wasn't trying to sit in better seats. It's rather annoying too since I'm young they scrutinize kids alot more.

As for StubHub, I bought Red Wings tickets towards the end of the regular season. Aside from being over on Broadway and in the total opposite direction from JLA I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again. It was a Craigslist deal where I had to pick up at StubHub.
