Default Bank of America - dead rumor?

A while back there was a rumor floating that Bank of America had considered relocating its regional offices to downtown. Apparently an urban presence was desirable to BOA. Since we have not heard anything is a long time, I assume this rumor is dead? If its not, how big of a move would this be? 1,500 workers? 500?

Mike Cox investigated this matter and declared it an "urban myth."

I don't know if I can find an original link but here is a different forum discussing the above move.

I wonder if B of A has put this plan on hold or if it has been altogether cancelled?

Seeing as the B of A move was rumored in '07 before the banking bubble burst, it seems like any plans for relocation will be history until the company is able to figure which way is up.
