Default Fans Hit Comerica Park's 1st Garage Sale

    From The Detroit News: http://www.detnews.com/article/20100...#ixzz0u0MMMKSn

Hundreds of sports fans poured into Comerica Park this morning for the stadium's first garage sale.
Minutes after the gate opened at 10 a.m., fans had already snagged rare collectibles, like 2005 All-Star Game seat cushions and chairs from the Tiger Den.
"We literally cleaned out our storage spaces," said Jill Baran, manager of events and guest services at Comerica Park. "Everybody does spring cleaning. We did mid-season cleaning."

Yea, they had the old Tiger Den chairs sitting under the main concourse for the past few years now. They where all in pretty bad shape, thats why they had to replace them.

IMHO, the better sale was the auction at Tiger Stadium a few years back!
