Excellent night for a ball game! A lot of cracked bats and a lot of hitting. The Tigers, and especially Verlander, looked great. Rodney started to scare everyone at the end, but the team held it together to defeat the New York Yankees, 4-2.

No idea why Rodney was in that game for a non-save situation when he pitched the day before. But all's well that ends well.

Rodney's picking up where the Fat Man left off. Come into a game to close it out. let a few runners on, maybe a run, make it more interesting than it should be, then close out the inning right ass the booo birds start to get louder.
