This is a curious story. Somehow not hidden behind the Blue Wall.


Might be the first recorded use of a Taser between two officers outside of training.


Sounds complicated, though.


One officer beating up a pregnant woman, the other using his official weapon outside his jurisdiction.


Are you supposed to incapacitate someone operating a MOVING VEHICLE?! Is that part of Taser training?

Briggs said he hired Wallar three weeks ago. Wallar is also a part-time officer in Methuen and a former campus police officer at Merrimack College, Briggs said.

I'm guessing this guy has trouble with his 90-day review. But he's still got that gig in Methuen, so all that Taser training won't be put to waste.

Hell, Gannon, I can't comment on that post. In my day, there were no taser things. We didn't even have radios; had to communicate by call box on the street. Those boxes were a great place to store a pint, too......
