Spotlights On Time Square

So, Washington Square folks, what do you think of those new spot lights at the club below Taste Pizza Bar?


[[Taste just turned on their huge moving spotlights, on Time Square. They're lights are moving back and forth, all over the back side of the Washington Square Apartment Building, as well as the Leland).

So does that mean that place Red Square got rid of its spotlights?

They moved the spotlight so those two lights shine under and into the Time Square People Mover station, and a little on the vacant Book Tower now.

Fryar, I don't know, there are plenty of spotlights used at various times all over our downtowns. There is definitely much less use of spotlights than there used to be. In the years leading up to the Super Bowl, I used to go up on the roof of my North Grand Circus Park high rise, and there were spotlights all over the sky, it was amazing to see. All four casinos, the [[now Filmore) State Theater, and a night club South of Campus Martius Park were on every weekend, and a few were on every night.

And occasionally... on very clear nights... one of the Art Vans in the direction of suburbia would have a sale, and I could vaguely see spot lights out on the horizon in those directions as well.
