Hey everyone,
I’m working with the Ad Council, the Coalition to End Childhood Lead Poisoning, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to help promote their Lead Poisoning Prevention campaign. The goal is to help educate parents about lead poisoning in children and I thought some of you might be interested in the campaign as big cities like Detroit have lots of older buildings... .in fact, children age 6 and under and pregnant women are at greatest risk of lead poisoning, so if your house was built before 1978 be sure to get it tested, especially if you’re thinking of doing renovation, repair or painting work. To find out more information about lead poisoning, check out the website.
