    You can catch the Filarets at least one weekend each Christmas season at Old St. Mary's in Greektown. And their director, Bob Barnhart, is the full-time organist there.

    Actually second cousin, my mother and her were first cousins.
    That would make her your first cousin once removed. If she has any kids, those would be your second cousins.

    I'm a "she" and married to Doug, Cathy's older brother. I was at that party too but I'm sure I missed seeing you as I was either holding Stephen's new baby or running around serving coffee.

    Second cousins. The "removes" come in when the generation is different. Now if you had kids and and your second cousin had kids, they would be third cousins to each other, but second cousins once removed to you. Make sense or clear as mud?
