What happened to Autofina ?

I was driving down Jefferson in Riverview And noticed that Autofina at the corner of W. Jefferson and Pennsylvania is gone,just a vacant lot ,what happened? And whats gonna go there?

Ever since that "Incident" a few years back where they had a release of noxious gas that injured several people [[burning holes in their lungs when they inhaled it) things have gone downhill for them. They tried to change their name but eventually they went under and had to shut down the site, they were required to clean it before they vacated it due to the contamination there.

I did not live in the path of the chemical cloud that was created by the blast but i know some people who were. One of their kids was pretty messed up [[holes in her lungs from breathing in the stuff) but i dont think the plant was ever held responsible. Sucks to see people who lost jobs when they shut down but also glad to see them gone in some respects, its a lose-lose situation either way though.
