    Holy moley. This is amazing and it generates a ton of tourism-in Germany.

    Detroit has the empty buildings, and it would be a great draw to the area. I would take the whole family to see it, if I didn't have to fly across the Atlantic...

    For this idea of building a large model railroad in Detroit to attract tourists isn't going to fly. The only way to get this type of attraction to work is to build it somewhere in Detroit on a grand scale. Then get The Ghoul to Emcee it, while a Japanese guy in a green monster suit,where you can see the zipper on the guy's back, comes along then trashes the whole thing,while squirting Cheez-Whiz at the attendees.
