Al and Tipper Gore separate after 40 years

Former Vice President Al Gore

and his wife, Tipper, are separating after 40 years of marriage that included a White House run when their sunny relationship offered a counterpoint to President Bill Clinton's philandering. NBC News confirmed the split.
According to an e-mail circulated among the couple's associates on Tuesday, the Gores

said it was "a mutual and mutually supportive decision that we have made together following a process of long and careful consideration."
Gore spokeswoman Kalee Kreider

confirmed the statement came from the Gores, but declined to comment further.

It's going to be interesting when she comes out with her inevitible book to see her take
on his ca$h-in obsession with Global Warming and the stretching of the truth.

At least now, the massive Gore family carbon footprint might be cut in half.

I feel bad for them. They seemed to be a true couple and regardless of which side of the aisle you are on , it is bad form to gloat over such a personal and painful decision.

I'm quite confident that him falling out of love with her and and falling in love with Global Warming and the millions he made with his fearmongering will make for some good reading.

That's not my biggest my worry. Democrats, in general, have been exhibiting a penchant for abridging speech. Divorced couples use up more space in their respective homes, which amounts to to 38 million more rooms worldwide to light, heat and cool, noted the report.
And people who divorced used 73 billion kilowatt-hours more of electricity and 627 billion gallons of water than they would otherwise in 2005.
Dissolving a marriage also means doubling possessions, from the lowly can opener to the SUV............
