Telenews Theater Being Painted - AKA BLEU

Drove down Woodward last night, and the old Telenews Theater, aka Bleu, was being painted. For those of you who don't know, it is a couple doors south of the Broderick Tower on Woodward. The neon sign was covered up in plastic and they were repainting the blue stripes on the building. There is no question that there has been a lot of activity on Woodward lately, does anyone know what's going on here?
