The 26th of this month The Detroit Welcome Center will begin making local bands cd's albums posters and t's available to the public.

if you or someone you know would like to participate in representing our city with your sounds ...and if you play rock, techno, blues, jazz, hip hop, classical, dub step, rockabilly, psychobilly, metal, house, electronic, blue grass, folk...you get the idea...

It was opened two years ago by Inside Detroit. it's not only welcome center...its a great place to stop to find out more about our wondeful city. wether you want maps, a place to use wierelss, to find out a great place to eat, or you want a tour of the city...

and Detroit memorabilia created by local artists, it's all offered.

Had fun prepping for this event last night...amazing to see the development of the Welcome Center over the past year and some.

We'll be doing more prep work late this afternoon into evening, and Sandy says she'll take CDs for sale up to six o'clock...no last-minute drop-offs tomorrow, please!

You wouldn't believe the effort they put into restyling the place for this party.

Stuff they can do with the resources at hand is...well...a microcosm of Detroit.
