    Default 25 Cleveland Schools to be demolished

    Cleveland's got their own public school demolition plan to get 25 buildings out of the way this year.... some are real gems and many are comparible to Detroit buildings. Photos and some details here:

    Excellent photo's!
    Wright was slated for demolition in 2006, according to the 2005 capital improvement plan summary. That's the last mention of it I've seen aside from being listed as a property for sale.

    Historic schools all over the region are being demolished. It's pretty sad really. The middle school and elementary [[built in 20s-30s) in Sylvania, Ohio my mom went to are currently being demolished.

    Is that the Burnham building on Monroe that's coming down?

    Yes, that building is already gone and a new school is being built where it was. My mom went there for 9th and 10th grades.
