    Default What's bing doing?

Bing is bringing in two cronnies from his organization [[Bing Steel) and paying one of them very high wages. He has promoted some from within and given them hefty raises. He is asking employees to take a pay cut. Well, when you make $150,000.00 a year you can afford to take a 10% pay cut but when you only make $40-50,000 a year, where does that leave you? For a city with no money, no viable police force, a fire department that is using antiquated equipment, dilapidated buildings, and is broke, how is Bing justifying this?

"Meet the new boss, same as the old boss"..................

Anybody surprised that he has kept Kwame's cronies and has CONVICTED FELON Charlie Beckham on his staff? What was Beckham convicted of? Wait a minute, it will come to me- Oh yea - Accepting bribes - Sound familiar? Hate to tell you, but Kwame is still running the city by proxy. Why do you think that the only people coming forward in the Greene case are no longer on the city payroll? Kwame has many eyes and ears inside the CAY and DPD.

Why wouldn't he bring in people he can trust and has worked with before? Is that so bad? Also, note that one aide is donating all but $1 of his $160,000 salary back to the city...

These new hires, the raises that others are receiving are totalling approximately $500,000.00/yr for the City of Detroit...that's a bit extravagant for a City that is broke...don't you think? Why give Saul Green a raise of almost $4000 because his position is now "official"? Holmes is making $145,000 a year...she received a raise of $5000...why? Bing is asking all employees to take pay cuts, he is asking all employees to take cuts on their health care, he has already authorized furlough days on the 1st and 15th of every month and the City shuts down. This isn't rocket science here folks...
