This thread looked lonely and needed a kiss, today.

Maybe a deadly kiss [[seeing as I knew no better currently existing threads)-as I want to be slightly garish and condescending and refer folks to this entry [[it's the kind of thing one would find in the "Book of Lists" under "Indestructible Persons"):

I delight in this, seeing as it is so rich in irony and jinx to the evildoers, and I would've referred folks to the Amazing Stories episode on Youtube [[but it looked like crud).

Pardon my off-color humor to the vibrant green of the day's festivities, and please drive safe out there, tonight, folks.

St. Patrick's has been doing wonderful work in the Cass Corridor for decades. Sister Mary Watson deserves a medal.

In the meantime, here are some color photos I acquired of a different Irish parade going down Woodward [[you can see St. John's Episcopal in the background and a Whitlow's) in 1969.
