Default Pretty depressing. Peter Steele dies at 48.

Even Gothics get depressed. Sad news, Peter Steele, frontman of Type O Negative, died this wednesday due to heart failure. I think I'm not exaggerating in calling this man one of the iconic voices of music. Instant recognition when you hear him.

This is not metal, this is pure concrete. A tribute to pure and utter bass pleasure.
Type O Negative - Love you to death.

    Peter Steele, Jan. 4 1962 - Apr. 14 2010.

As someone said in the comments on that track, the soundtrack of my youth.

    He will be sadly missed...

He was an integral figure of the Goth scene, yet never took it too seriously, often poking fun at the whole idea. I liked the Summers Breeze cover they did.

I never thought his shitty music was "goth". But what is depressing about it? People die everyday. At least he had money and enjoyed what he did.

He probably didn't enjoy life as much as you would imagine.
