Parking Meter Holiday 4/2??

Is today [[April 2 - Good Friday) a parking meter holiday in Detroit?

How do you know when parking meter holidays are? I cannot find a list anywhere on the city web pages.

I work downtown and pay for parking, but would love to take a meter spot on one of the zillions of city holidays that I don't get, e.g. Good Friday, Columbus Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Xmas Eve, MLK Day, Veteran's Day, etc...

Not worth risking a ticket to test it though... I've gotten enough

I’m thinking it's not a holiday from parking tickets... It's a City Holiday, meaning some city employees are off for the day. City Hall is Closed !
