Default Behind the scenes video; Oakland University preps for Pittsburgh

    Video; http://tinyurl.com/yfy8wf3

As soon as the #14 seeded Oakland University learned they'd be playing #3 seeded Pittsburgh in Milwaukee, they went to work for 3 days practicing and reviewing game tape.

Coach Greg Kampe invited me to spend those days with them to shoot a sports video feature on them as they hope to shock, impress and screw up a lot of peoples brackets.

By the way, it was my first time at OU, really nice campus and facilities. And yeah I admit being bandwagon media on this only covering them when they made the tournament and never before then but as Kampe told me "any coverage is good coverage!"

Oakland plays Pittsburgh today at 2:45 on CBS

I grew up near Oakland U. Beautiful campus and area. Meadowbrook Mansion has to be seen to be believed. Ridiculous extravegance from [[one of) Detroit Golden Age[[s). Regional gem.

My parents 50th wedding anniversary was catered in Meadowbrook Hall in 1986. It was a beautiful place. I understand the theater/concert facility out there is also excellent [[for the "arts, culture, and music" types that feel that there is no culture in the burbs).

As far as ridiculous extravagance, I have a McMansion now, but I think that the years living in trailer parks, military housing, small apartments, and a tent in Vietnam have earned it for me. If you make the money, go ahead and build yourself a castle.

That is really strange because when I was shooting this video [[http://tinyurl.com/yfy8wf3)
of the OU team at practice for the tournament I swear I didn't see this Meadowbrook Hall inside the gym :-)

    You caught me hijacking...

Hermod - from what I've read from you on these boards, it sounds like you've earned what you have. Hope to have the option of living in one someday.
