    Glad you asked!
We've already begun field testing our 4G LTE network domestically in select markets. Because 4G LTE is global, we've also worked with key network operators including Vodafone and China Mobile to coordinate field trials outside the U.S.

As for the rest of the Network, we'll keep you posted on when 4G LTE will hit your neck of the woods.

My guess is very soon. The word on the street is that Apple is planning to release a new iPhone for Verizon's 4G network this summer.

I have a Verizon Blackberry, but rarely use it to accesss the web. It's very slow. I've tested it in a few spots around the Detroit area, and the connection speeds are never higher than 230 kbps. Do others have similar experiences? Are there any faster "hotspots" in the area? Verizon brags about their 3G coverage, but in my experience, 3G speeds aren't very speedy.

Per the Sprint rep at Best Buy, Sprint is set to roll out 4G in Detroit summer 2010. I plan on dumping comcast and making the switch within months. They currently offer a modem that works with both 3G and 4G, picking up the fastest available service. The modem wasn't free though, and I believe was around $100.
