Detroit Project Needs Help From Locals!

My name is Philip Lauri, I run an organization in Detroit called DETROIT LIVES! The idea of the org is to design media that tell a positive, enlightening story about Detroit to people on the outside and in. Some of the media work done thus far has been public art [[http://bit.ly/2eEFGm), a blog [[http://bit.ly/337qsI) filmmaking [[http://bit.ly/5F8OUw), and an apparel line [[http://bit.ly/chabN).

I am starting a new project on behalf of the organization to try and create a new-wave guidebook of sorts that gives folks a couple of ideas and hints as they try to appreciate the city. The content of the "guidebook" is generated 100% by those that are in the city on the ground-- locals. So, if you don't mind, help me get this project off the ground by sharing some of your experiences of the places, spaces and things about Detroit you wouldn't possibly let others miss out on.
