Suggestion:
A part time Governor, along with a unicameral, part time Legislative branch, perhaps made up of several dozen elected representatives.

There, I just saved us all millions!

I decided not to run this year so that I could spend more time with my family [[which should absolutely NOT be read to mean that I have any kind of skeleton in my closet)

The State of Michigan, with many others are screwed for another six to eight years anyway.
