Default Gigabit Google Internet for Detroit?

I think Ken Cockrel referred to it as “Silicone Alley”. I can not think of a better way to jump start a high-tech corridor than by bringing in the latest and greatest Google Fiber Optic Gigabit Internet. There’s two ways to make this happen. First everyone should go here: http://www.google.com/appserve/fiberrfi , click “Get Involved” then “Nominate your community”. Then write your city council members and ask them to click “Start Government Response”.

Silicone Alley sounds like a red light district.
