Minnelli's website says done in Detroit in January. Only the passing background film and the single overhead shot need have been done eslewhere [[might even be stock footage).

She will not fly, it has really limited her schedule over the years. I remember she took 5 buses to LA once, but refused to have them drive over mountains.
She was in NYC for the Rock & Roll Hall anniversary and sounded great, looked good to.

She only flies in extreme circumstances. She flew to England three or four years ago to perform for the Queen. She also flew to Detroit from L.A. when her father was shot.
