Hey all,
I'm trying to get a bunch of people together for happy hour [[530p-730p) at the Checker Bar on Friday, Feb, 19th. Good Food and Drinks to be had by all. Hope to see you there! Their business has been down lately, go figure, just throwing them some love.

Forgot to mention that YES there will be specials for Happy Hour. If this is a success they may begin a regular happy hour! I'm looking forward to meeting the dyes folks.

$4 well drinks [[they use decent well liquor)
$4 glass of white [[a. Mano soave) and red [[concha y toro)
$1 schnapp shots
food is always a good deal...
1/2 lb checker burger $5.50
grilled chicken sandwich $6
fries and slaw $1.50
soups are awesome too.
