Unemployment rate in Toronto is 9.8% vs. the Canadian average of 6.9% http://www.thestar.com/business/2013...s_back_up.html Most office workers in downtown still have to commute from outside Toronto because rents are through the roof. Average rent in Toronto is $1,856 and rising. http://www.cbc.ca/news/business/toro...ales-1.1336850 A POS townhouse close to downtown [[Cabbagetown) is still a million bucks. http://property.trovit.ca/index.php/...n_type.1/pop.1 The last ice storm shut down public transit including the subways. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toront...ower-1.2473543 Sound exciting enough for you to want to move down there?

    Waste of time.

If you really want to move to a Canadian city with a larger population than Detroit for the health care, move to Edmonton, Alberta. You have Canadian health care, a 5% sales tax, the maximum inheritance tax [[probate) is $400, and a lower tax rate than any US state on the super rich http://www.canadianbusiness.com/econ...-than-the-u-s/
