    Default base jumping off MCS?!?!?

Someone sent me an email today saying they had seen a couple groups of people base jumping off MCS a couple friday's ago....now I don't know if anyone else saw this whilst whizzing down Vernor or US12, but I don't know if you can even base jump off of 230 feet?

Anybody see this or hear about it, or should I just send this to the junk folder!

There's a You Tube video of guys base jumping off the Ren Cen:

If you can parasail in the Detroit River, or at least attempt to, then anything is possible.

Apparently according to someone on Yahoo Answers the minimum height is 250 feet, MCS is 230 feet to the top of the building, but add another 15-25 feet with the smokestack and I suppose it's possible.

Really? In the Detroit River! Wow!

At least the place is being used for something. Perhaps this should be filed under "adaptive reuse"?
