    Default detroit photographs

its been awhile since ive posted anything to the forum. been really focusing on my photo biz, which has taken me from shooting the city to doing more weddings and portraiture. which is great, dont get me wrong, but definitely not my first love. so ive decided to dive back in and get back to shooting detroit and posting stuff here. hope that is quite alright.

heres one of my favorite shots from this past year looking down woodward...

and im actually beginning to tinker with video as well. heres my first attempt ever, i think theres definitely room for improvement, but i dont think its half bad either...

Nice video, Southen! I still follow your Flickr stream when I get a chance, and always enjoy it when you post urban shots. The high-end Canon and Nikon DSLRs take great quality video.

I have not posted to my Flickr in a long time, but these are two of my favorite Detroit shots:

In terms of views, this one from Tiger Stadium has been more popular, though:

Nice stuff southen, cman710. I don't use flickr, but I have been documenting my muse for Detroit and her people for a while now with a few followers worldwide.

Ryan: Again...your talent totally amazes me. The pictures are great! The video absolutely catches the mood of Detroit. You are a magnificent artist. Keep them coming! If I ever have money to get portraits of my family made...I'm heading straight to you!

    Thanks again!

Rajdet: Your photos are great as well. I love mix of black and white and color...and VERY colorful!

Love it. Absolutely LOVE it! Great talent, southern, keep it up. I'd love to see more. As a former Detroiter who still loves his city, I could watch videos like that for days.

Are your photos for sale? If so do you have a link to a website or a gallery?
Would be interested in buying some for the new office digs!

I like the Lafayette Bldg pics. Especially the graffiti art. "Who is the pickle?"

not quite related to detroit, but over the last month i have been reworking my website and launched it over the weekend. it focuses more on my wedding and portrait portfolios but given the support ive received from the forum over the years i figured it might be worth sharing.
