I've heard that in Warren under the Pampa Lanes bowling alley that there was a recording studio and Bob Segar recorded his Smokin OP's album there. Any info or pics of this place?

Yes, it is true, just as is the statement that "Google is your friend".
Bob Seger Official Site:
Pampa Lanes - Yesterday and Today:The [Smokin OPs] album was recorded at Pampa Studios in Detroit which resided in the basement of the Pampa Lanes Bowling Alley. The bowlers had to be stopped from time to time in order to record the tracks. As Punch Andrews, Seger's longtime manager, recalls "sometimes the bass was enhanced by the rumble of the bowlers on Lane 17".
In the 1970's, Jim Jr. opened Pampa Sound Studios inside Pampa Lanes, and did studio work for the likes of Bob Seger, Gladys Knight and the Pips, and Burt Bachrach. When Jim Jr. decided to rent out his studio less than 10 years later, he already had five gold records to his credit.

I remember it being in back of the bowling alley, not in the basement...
Too bad there aren't pics online about it. I couldn't find any anyway.
