Skipper's Hamtown open @ 1OAM on Punchki day, February 16th. Come on in for the usual pre-lenten debauchery. Great selection of beer and liquors, Polish Muslim music, coffee and Punchki's. Cookie Mary behind the bar, and maybe John Cummings too. And all of the little Polish Leprechauns hanging out. I think I'm getting my Catholic Holidays mixed up. We've been recognized by a world expert on bars and clubs, 'The Hoov' from the DY Gar Wood link, as one of the smallest and worst clubs in Hamtramck, and maybe Detroit too. What a distinction! Skipper's Hamtown is now open at 4PM monday through friday and 6PM on saturday until 2AM each morning. Stop by and say 'hello' to John Lopez, former manager of Union Street and Majestic and former owner, co-owner of The Atlas Global Bistro and Twingo's. Lopez is holding the bar on afternoons.
