    Default Model T Taxi/Towncars

I am looling for photos of Model T Towncars -these Chauffeur driven Model T's were often used as Taxi where the driver was seperated from the passengers by a glass partition. They had a convertible top ,but only the rear portion opened up -not unlike a Baby's Pram with Landeau Irons on the side. These cars were often seen picking up passengers outside Railway Stations or Hotels or in Traffic. These cars were first built in 1908 thru 1917 but lastest for a number of years. They had a brass radiator from 1908-1915.Please check your old photos for me

Have you checked Henry Ford Museum, Detroit Historical Museum or the Detroit Public Library? All have extensive archives on auto history.

I can't even imagine a Model T like that, these were all pretty basic vehicles. Also google the T-Plex, there may be some guys there that might know.

Have you tried T-Plex? Or Model T Ford Club of America? Or their Flickr Page? Or The Model T Ford Club International? Or The Benson Ford Research Center?

Current photo of a brass radiator T. Not a Landau Taxi though.

Just search google images for "model t" town car exactly as you see it typed and you'll find lots of photos.

Here's the link for the above search:

Just keep in mind that not every Town Car [[nor Model T in general) you see was a factory made vehicle - many are a 'mutt-dog' of mismatched parts from many years. The few real early T's are few and far between, and valuable!

    Regards,
    Garnet
