    Default Happy Winter Solstice

    http://news.nationalgeographic.com/n...-day-year.html

I'm surprised Qweek or Gannon didn't beat me to this topic.

Maybe they've been abducted by aliens.

If it said that aliens were altering the tilt...Gannon would be all over it.

Ahh yes, the days start getting longer, time to put away the hunting stuff and think about fishing.

Geez, can't a guy take a day or two off to get some work done?!

I felt a difference today...very positive. I got more things accomplished in one day than I've been able to complete in weeks previously.

We're still on the brink of something hugely weird...I cannot get that out of my head and heart...wish it wasn't so vague, but the brew is coming through a hot simmer on the way to boil.

Thankfully the cycle has turned...some of my friends are already planning their gardens for springtime...what say you, Cub?! Got a list of winter projects for us?!

    Cheers

I saw what I thought were three planets peeking through the clouds early Sunday morning...while getting some air during a few fabulous friend's birthday party in Hamtramck...but when I checked later...there were only two in the sky that morning, unless I was reading the planet finder wrong.

All three were the same magnitude...and it was really strange to see them through the cloud cover...

sounds like the wort is almost ready!
cool it down and add the yeast.

Strange, I felt especially happy yesterday for no particular reason. Maybe Gannon is onto something.

    Slick,

Now THAT might be the proper ending...right now I feel it negatively, but then I've tasted wort before its time.

It might be the perfect analogy for the seeming troubles that are happening, with the proper attitude we might be able to make it all into something enabling and intoxicating!

    Alexis,

I can only know what I experience...and am usually grasping at external reasons for things I know are not my fault or choosing.

    Cheers

I celebrate on the 10th, when the sun starts setting later.

What the hell is wrong with you Bats? why do you feel this need to inject your hateful venom into any discussion, regardless of topic? why can't you just let people say "happy holidays" and let it go?

we all know the answer to that question

a joyous holiday season to all
