What's Going On Around Jail/DPD Headquarters?

Was driving back to work a little before 12 noon today and Gratiot and all surrounding streets were blocked off in front of the Jail/DPD Headquarters. No barricades in front of 36th District Court, just the jail and police.

Just a few minutes ago I saw a white helicopter, a very new helicopter and a model I've never seen before, land in that area [[didn't actually see it touch down, can't see from work, but saw it decend before going below building line).

That was Kwame dropping by and reminding all of his DPD toadies that "there was no party". Question- Why hasn't Ella the Bull been subpoened by Yatooma? Or, better yet, indicted for obstruction of justice?

I'd guess the streets were blocked so the helicopter could land safely. Could it have been an air ambulance situation?

I hope the White Helicopter Conspiracy doesn't get as overblown as the Black Helicopter Conspiracy.

Guess it will depend on whether or not Gannon finds out about this.

I have nothing to add in the matter of black helicopter conspiracy, it was around well before I came in.

Black helicopters...meh...so what?! May they learn the hard way about gravity.

As for this white one, it must've been a high-level prisoner.

Why else would they stop traffic, instead of landing in ANY of the convenient dirt parking lots in the area?!

Wonder how many cops they used on this stunt?

Depending on the day it was there was a bomb scare 2 in the last year and a jumper off the casino garage.

Cooley's football field is used for police prisoner exchange via helicopter [[although it hasn't happened in quite some time). Normally they would use one of the available spaces and use cruisers for the rest of the ride. I was told the location of the drop off/pick up was not disclosed until the chopper was almost to the location [[evidently to avoid any planned escape attempt).

I saw the same helicopter today again outside my office window. Arrived at the courthouse area around 10 am and left 10 mins later. Just saw it come again and leave in 5 minutes time. Didn't see it land, but appeared to be courthouse/jail area again. White helicopter with black stripes. Reminicent of the sceme for ICE vehicles. Any ideas? The helicopter came from the NE and returned to the NE both times. To and from Selfridge? Why would a District Court or a Circuit Court have an ICE person coming?
