MsChievous, if you're out there, can you give us updates on the Charter Commission and their activities? It's been awhile since I've anything. And if anyone has been to these meetings lately, your voice is also welcome!

    Default Charter Update

In the past, our documents and schedule were posted on the city's website but that has been hit and miss lately. Still, I have included a link:

    http://www.detroitmi.gov/Departments...6/Default.aspx

I'm also TRYING to attach a .pdf of documents from our last meeting. If that doesn't work, if someone would like to give me an email address, I'll forward the documents. Documents from our meetings are public but we are having a difficult time getting the city to update the site on a regular basis. I'm leaning toward agreeing with some of my colleagues that we need our own web site, email addresses, etc.

I still have my campaign website and even though I don't EVER intend to run for another public office, I think I will use it to post our public documents. In the meantime, my email address is blount4charter@yahoo.com. We also have city email addresses but someone in IT recently wiped them all out and most of our saved documents were lost so I don't use it often.

    Here are our city emails:

    CARA J. BLOUNT
    BlountC@detroitmi.gov

    KEN COLEMAN
    ColemanK2@detroitmi.gov

    REGGIE REG DAVIS
    DavisRR@detroitmi.gov

    JENICE MITCHELL FORD, Vice Chair
