Default Books about the History of Dearborn

Anyone know of any good books about the city of Dearborn, it history, that would also have lots of pictures? I would like to get one for my Dad for this birthday as he grew up there.

I would also inquire at the Dearborn Historical Museum, as they might have some good recommendations.

They have that Arcadia book at Barnes and Noble, if you have one near you. At least it's in stock at the one that I'm at right now anyway [[and no, I don't work here). Might save you the shipping costs and the potential wait for shipping as well. It's reviewed at Amazon.com, given a 5-star rating.

Orvie: The Dictator of Dearborn: The Rise and Reign of Orville L. Hubbard. Detroit: Wayne State University Press, 1989.
Long term Dearborn mayor Hubbard became a national symbol of suburban resistance to blacks in the era before the Open Housing Law was enacted in 1968.
