Default Good used clothes kids and adults

In the past years we have given used clothes to the Salvation army for there resale shops.
But this year when so many folks are in need are there churches that will take used clean clothing for adults and kids. We will deliver, have blankets, clothes and other items. We are older yes Detroiters and and live in the Palmer Woods, Sherwood Fores area. Perhaps some group might pick up or maybe we can coordinate a drop off..

It's the least we can do in this recession for our neighbors.

Check with the Capuchins for needy families. St Vincent de Paul, Salvation Army and Purple Heart are all good organizations but sometimes a person wants a closer connection to where donations go.

You could also contact local churches. Many of them have "clothes closets" or food pantrys and will gladly accept donations.

Shelter's for the homeless or battered women are another option. I've donated to all these in addition to the Salvation Army, St. Vincent de Paul, etc.
