Now that cooler heads have had time to prevail, we get this from Tuesday's NYT: UK 'Climategate' Inquiry Largely Clears Scientists

The first of several British investigations into the e-mails leaked from one of the world's leading climate research centers has largely vindicated the scientists involved.

The House of Commons' Science and Technology Committee said Wednesday that they'd seen no evidence to support charges that the University of East Anglia's Climatic Research Unit or its director, Phil Jones, had tampered with data or perverted the peer review process to exaggerate the threat of global warming -- two of the most serious criticisms levied against the climatologist and his colleagues.

In their report, the committee said that, as far as it was able to ascertain, "the scientific reputation of Professor Jones and CRU remains intact," adding that nothing in the more than 1,000 stolen e-mails, or the controversy kicked up by their publication, challenged scientific consensus that "global warming is happening and that it is induced by human activity."...

Just like the boy who cried wolf, the hysterical hyperbole strategy is backfiring.

While we argue over how much people have contributed to the present climate changes and how much CO2 is good and when does it become too much, our industries are poisoning the biosphere with molecules never seen on the earth in all its 17 or more ice ages. Cases of asthma are rising, the oceans are turning acid, we are told not to eat ocean fish very often because of the toxins, we are pumping the earth with herbicides and pesticides, who knows what cancers are being exaserbated. And the solution is the same for both problems.

OUR industries have an Environmental Protection Agency with strict laws that make them some of the cleanest on the planet.

Meanwhile, China gets a free pass, and as a result of this they blow our industry out of the water.

Jimaz, Rachel Maddox completely agrees with your rhetorical talking points and even makes her points in the same order. But what's this about "revoking the right to go fishing". I don't care if the President has a real birth certificate or if the stimulus has been effective as you suggest but do tell us about this charge about revoking our right to fish. This hasn't been covered by the news very well.

The continental shift can cause how the sunlight delivers warn oceanic currents from the tropics to the north and south poles that could trigger natural made global warning and cooling:

1. There was a Snowball Earth happened over 800 million years ago. As the ancient desert global continent of Rodinia formed the south pole region of Earth. This cause the blockage of warmer oceanic currents to the South Pole. Glaciers build up from the both the North and South Poles covering the entire plant all the way to the equator. Global temperatures were -40 below Fahrenheit. It lasted over 100 million years until continental shifts release CO2 gases into the atmosphere causing the glaciers to melt and Earth warming up. Life of Earth can begin with a Pre-Cambrian Explosion.

2. A gamma ray explosion from a nearby dying blue giant star over 600 million years ago trigged a global cooling throught Earth. Wiping out 90% of oceanic flora and fauna life. There was no life in the broken continents of Lauretian, and Gondwanaland.

3. There was a natural made global warming occured the lat carboniferous period over 300 million years ago.The cause of it a supervolcanic plume in the northern hemisphere of Ancient continent of Siberia.

4. There was very larger global warming event during the last Trassic Period 100 million years ago. There were no ice and snow anywhere. It won't form until the mid Creteceous Period.

5. An asteroid impact in the Yucatan Pennisula cause global cooling 65 million years ago, wiping out the all the big dinosaurs, clearing the way for mammals.

7. As the countinents formed into 7 parts in the Earth, An ice age suddenly formed more in the North Poles covering the entire northern hemisphere. The cuase of it is where The South American Continent clashed with the Pan America peninsula forming a Isthmus [[a Land Bridge); directing the oceanic currents away from the Antartic Coastlines and diverting the Mid-Antlantic currents away from the Artic Ocean. As the oceanic currents change brining warmer waters to the North Poles, The Ice age ended for a while. There are repeated Ice Ages from the Mid 12th Century to the Late 19th Century until human industrial development cause a possible manmade global warming. It would last until the possible Mayan Purification Epoch begins at 2012. when the Earth will take a 700,000 year overdue cosmic bath. The Result will be a slight polar shift, geo-magnetic reversal and possible supervolcanic plume over Yellowstone National Park. This year there more massive Earthquakes being reported all over the world. 4 Billion people will DIE! 60% of all Flora and Fauna life will perish. Howver the Earth will not die, it's just changing and cleaning up man's sins. So be prepared and be ready.
