    Default Dancing In The Streets

    Its a book about the political and social turmoil that went on during the 1960s, and ties Motown into it. Its a good read. Has anybody here read it???

    I read it and loved it; it's one of the best books about Detroit....

    Sounds like something I should look into. I love reading about that period. I was in elementary school when all this SDS/Weatherman, Chicago 7, Detroit riots etc. went on.

    psubliminal, You might be interested in Bill Ayers memoir, Fugitive Days, Pun Plamondon's Lost From the Ottawa, or Cathy Wilkerson's Flying Close to the Sun to get a taste of the politics swirling round during that era.
