    Someone posted that the detroit upswing thread smelled like a fudge thing; if not it should be.

    Any government needs citizen oversight. Ron Scott does a great job and has for many years provided thoughtful oversight of DPD.

    Apparently the writingand/or editing at the Free Press is NOT on the "upswing."

    Homicide Sgt. Matthew Gnatek, who also works in the homicide unit...

    That a good point. We tend to "forget" the need for governmental oversite especially at the federal level now that repubs are not in control of it all.....
