In these hard economic times the frugal need a cheap night[[and day) out. Historical and Art museums are relatively inexspensive. The Burton Historical collection requires small fees for certaing historical books and periodicals, the Detroit News; Free Press and Detroit Times on microfilm room is free. There are festivals, one that comes to mind is a Ferndale festival that features ice sculptures. Some local papers have coupons for dining establishments, hot deals on clothes in select resale shops [[places like Detroit Threads are fun to shop because of the wide array of items from records to vintage clothes) hunting down out ot the way stores-window shopping, photoging etc.....any suggestions?...
