The house that Patrick is referencing is 75 Arden Park. If those walls could talk!!! It was home to perhaps Detroit's most flamboyant citizen ever — Prophet Jones.

Are the blueprints for Marcus Burrowes, or Burrowes and Wells, archived anywhere or available to view/copy? I am specifically interested in the plans for the Henry T. Cole house at 394 Lakeland in Grosse Pointe. Any information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

At one time the City of Grosse Pointe most likely had the blue prints, but in a move of total stupidity through out all of their blue prints and original building permits. Grosse Pointe Park donated most of their blue prints to the Grosse Pointe Historical Society but some ended up at the Bentley Library at UofM. I would start at Bentley as they cherry picked the best sets. The blue prints in the hands of GPHS are being cataloged at the moment, but when they are available I well let you know. They will also be available for reproduction. As for 394 Lakeland a good friend's grandmother owned the home at one time I will ask him if there were blue prints when she lived there.
