Yeah, there is a strong link among prominent Detroiters & comics[[Keith Pollard easily the greatest overlooked Spider-Man artist) but when it comes to San Diego I think of Stu Shapiro-who put on a series of local comic cons in the 70's-80's. The 1st Oakland County Child Killer victim disappeared after leaving one of his shows @ the American Legion in Ferndale. Shapiro moved to San Diego, changed his name to Todd Loren before publishing a series f comics based on copyrighted rock bands. Anyway, this this guy says they believe s that serial killer Andrew Cunanan murdered him;
