If you owned two pieces of property, one in Detroit and one in the Suburbs, which one would you use as your address for auto insurance purposes?

Also, he is provided with a vehicle by the city, so it's not unlikely that any personal vehicles that he does own are probably parked at his house in the 'burbs.

How are we supposed to prove or disprove the rumor? Do we have access to his insurance records? No.

I own a home in Northern Michigan and one in Detroit. I approached a trusted insurance person with the possibility of changing the location of where I garage my car, and was told that if I ever needed the insurance I would be in a heap of trouble. The difference for my car was only $200. $750 a year vs $950 a year. I figured I'd keep it insured in Detroit and avoid a major hassle. Truth is location does not matter as much as your driving record or your credit score.

It is not transparent especially if Tom Barrow had put out that rumor yesterday. On WCHB Angelo Henderson had asked Dave Bing about the car insurance and Bing had said that his wife has a car and they still have the house in Franklin or whatever suburb they live in. So it was Tom Barrow who had spreaded the rumor at the last minute
