Gosh, who can forget his corny jokes, like the one about his wife kissing his you-know-whats? And his clever, "right on" food reviews [[Cafe Detroit, fer instance? Never bought a bagel from that place again!). He was one of the Forum's most solid pillars, a vessel filled with pure intellect and insight. He is missed....

Remember the song about the Boston MTA?......"He never returned, he never returned, and his fate is still unknown...he rides forever 'neth the streets of Boston, he's the man who never returned...."

Well, just apply that to Jjaba on the Dexter bus..........

[[I have his email addy and just shot off an inquiry. Shall let all know.)

Yeah, that happened to me too. I couldn't even use my old name [[eastsidedame) because "someone already had it". Yeah, ME! LOL. Glad to hear jjaba is A-OK. jjaba is my go-to for any West Side questions. Come back soon, jjaba!

I thought with all the construction on 696 that he was just land-locked on the Westside.

I searched the forums and there is one post from "Jjaba" on the new forum, but apparently he/she is Westside impostor.

Ray...yeah, please let Jjaba know his wisdom is missed, especially by us Westsiders.

I did, 65, and I also emailed webmeister Lowell about the user name snafu Jjaba ran in to. Hopefully, he'll get it straightened out and we can get Jjaba back from the Dexter bus.

jjaba resurfaces by popular demand. Suggest a thread for jjaba on the regular Forum for jjaba to come in.

jjaba has ordered up the 150 piece Cass Tech. Marching Band to escort him in.

So, what's the difference between New York City and Detroit?

jjaba, Soupy we miss you on the Westside.

If he speaks in the 3rd Person... it's the real McCoy... or in Jjaba's case... "echte Mandelblatt"....

Many thanks for the warm welcome. Actually, jjaba was in the Witness Protection Program under deep security, locked in an Eastside warehouse over on Dequnidre
somewhere. With gentle nudging, he'll soon be fully back. He needs to work out some details with his Parole Supervisor.

jjaba thanks Lowell Boileau for his advocacy and the Cass Tech. Band Parade.
Praise G-d, they stopped at Woodward Avenue and quickly goose-stepped back up Grand River.

Can anybody tell jjaba the difference between Detroit and New York City?
    Best answer wins trivia prize.

    jjaba, Proudly Westside.

"Can anybody tell jjaba the difference between Detroit and New York City?"

Um.....Noo Yahk has the World Series?

Noo Yahk actually doesn't have a NFL team [[actually in Joisey)? Wait, that won't work, neither does Detroit........

Noo Yahk doesn't border a foreign country? Wait, that won't work either, there's New Jersey......

Another head-scratcher from Jjaba. Welcome home.

    With new pickles?

    Glad to see you back!

I was going to say either our Coney Island doesn't have a beach or that our Frederick Law Olmsted park does.

Mackenzie68, new pickles, AKA half-sours are good, eh.
