Default Come Celebrate With Us at Spaulding Court

Please come join us as we celebrate our victory over the forces of
blight that have controlled this corner of our community for a number
    of years.

    WHO:

Anyone who'd like to join us in celebration...anyone that has admired
Spaulding Court and hoped that someday it would be rehabbed...or
imagined the possibilities...or just wanted it safe!

    WHAT:

    A community potluck.

If you like, some final details of the work will be completed
too...bring a drill gun, a rake or just yourself with boots on.

    WHEN:

Saturday, October 24 at 1pm for potluck.
Work will begin at 9am if you'd like to participate.

    WHERE:

Spaulding Court. If you mapquest it: 1901 Spaulding Court, 48216. If
your looking at a paper map: across the street from 2720 Rosa Parks

    WHY:

For fun, because your interest is piqued, because you want to
celebrate and be a part of a vibrant Detroit community that is working
hard to build a safe, clean, community-oriented neighborhood.

Used to pass by this place all the time and always thought it was a unique and beautiful building.
I am glad to know somebody is putting some time and effort into saving it.
    Thanks for making my day.
